the shaanxi banking association was established on july 7, 2000. it is a non-profit social group voluntarily formed by commercial banks, policy banks and related financial companies in shaanxi province. it is approved by the xi'an branch of the people's bank of china and registered with the shaanxi civil affairs department. it is a self-discipline organization of the banking industry in shaanxi province. after the establishment of the china banking regulatory commission in 2003, the competent unit of the shaanxi banking association was changed from the xi'an branch of the people's bank of china to the shaanxi regulatory bureau of the china banking regulatory commission, and after 2019, the competent unit was changed from the shaanxi regulatory bureau of the china banking and insurance regulatory commission.
